Just back from a visit to Vancouver and the Nicola Valley. The area has a number of beautiful buildings, including the Murray Church which I posted some images of here.

I particularly like the old red barn. Gives a sense of the environment the old building is in. The dead trees are a great element.

That's a very nice series Dan. It gives a real feel for the area. I particularly like the horse though. The look in its eye is a real treat.

An interesting variety of nice shots Dan, all well captured. It's probably just a matter of personal taste but I would like to see a bit more contrast on some of the images.

I took several tighter shots but, like you, I felt that having the dead trees added a lot. Then I moved slightly and got the horse into the shot as well and that was the one I went for.
