    Sepia Still Life

    Yes, the same glass vessels. I like this set of vessels so much that I'm photographing them every way that I can think of before I return them to my friends. Fortunately, they appreciate photography, so I may get away with keeping them well beyond any reasonable period of time. Now that I think about it, I've already done that.

    I do like the sepia tones on this shot Mike. The glass is crisp but the toning adds a component that makes the image more relaxing for me. Don't get me wrong I like the starkness of the mono but I think this might be my favorite due to the added and somewhat unexpected addition of the toning.

    I'm glad you like the toning, Shane. Some of the bright-field photos just "feel" better in black-and-white and some of them seem to be more suited to sepia. I can't explain why.
