    I can see it OK.
I like the shot but do wonder whether everything is too central ? The b&w works well.

    Re: Beach Scene

The posts are rather centrally placed but I think there is just enough variation on either side to make this scene work OK.

I like the scene Colin; quite moody feeling. Though I think it may have been more dynamic from a lower perspective and perhaps another meter forward to try to make more of the reflection from the short pier as a leading line into the scene and giving some more foreground interest and a tad less sky. Love the textures you've captured.

Charlbury is a village in the Cotswolds in UK - we're 16 miles out of Oxford. Very pretty and postcard ish and last weekend full of festival makers which quadrupled our population

The photograph certainly suits the B&W presentation. It is the sort of scene you need to walk around and try all sorts of angles and perspectives. Closer in and making the small leading posts or rocks a bit more dominant may have been interesting. You would probably need to crouch low and get wet to do so but sorry I never worry about the risk or discomfort of other photographers.

It is a lovely place and we stayed there for a few weeks in 2001

Thanks Paul for your input. A bit cold in Adelaide at the moment to risk getting wet.
    Cheers Colin
