    Meteor Photography

NOt sure if this a well worn thread but could not find anything.
I want to shoot some meteor showers. I have a Canon 7D with only a 18-135mm EF-S IS 1:3.5-5.6 lens kit.
Any pointers as to how to set up my camera? I am thinking 18mm F/4 30Sec intervals Knowing I will have minimal if not moon light
    Thanks,
    Randall

Hi: try 35mm, f8 to start (trial and Error), push ISO up to 3200, 15-25 seconds anything up to and over 30 seconds see movement in stars, remember manual focus and f/stop, focusing will be the hard thing.

    Cheers:

    Allan
