    I realize that it's a "spur of the moment" well exposed and sharp, photograph but, yeah there is a "but" to it,
    you neglected to pre-plan your shoot. Move the feeder far enough away from the fence to blur the background.

    Chauncey is right. I would like to add -avoid direct sunlight as it will blow up highlight details if you do not take necessary precautions. Otherwise you can bracket your shots if your camera permits.
