    The Open Road

Took this long exposure shot on the beach, wish it was more cloudy ..
Also, I believe the humidity made this kind-of smoke formation above the sand.
Any comments? This is my first thread

I like it, Hatem. Almost an abstract look. You've made nice use of parallel diagonals and color contrasts. Would like to see it in a larger version.

Much easier to appreciate this way. It's a beauty. The focus is a touch soft, which is a look that can certainly work- is it intentional here or an interesting and effective "accident"?

Haha, I believe it was not intentional
I don't think I wanted to focus on a certain point, the aperture was too small too (:
    Thank you Kevin!

Well, it gives it a lovely softness. I am still at a stage of seeing how crisp and sharp I can get most everything, and at some point need to explore the artistic potential of intentional softness. I've certainly seen it work beautifully.

It's the long exposure I guess .. Works like magic with the waves.
