    Trying out my new 7D

Apologies for being quiet of late....back to work and been busy playing with new toys

The landscapes were shot using an old EF 24mm f/2.8 (tripod, MLU, ISO 100....).

Tried out my 100mm macro (not the L one) down at the local butterfly farm:

Also found a jumping spider to try out my MP-E 65mm:

All shot as raw and converted to JPEGs using DPP. I had to correct for CA on the shots from the 24mm but the other shots are at default settings. Normally I'd do a bit tweaking to levels and stuff to TIFFs in PS so these aren't really finished shots but what I can get out of the 7D to work with.

I've more full res test shots on flickr - the one with the eyes was done at ISO 6400!

Nice series Andy. All are well done but I especially like #2....I'd like to be there.

Cheers guys. I've been pleased with how well my old lenses hold up on the high res sensor....I thought I might have to buy some new ones. I treated myself to a TS-E 90mm anyway though....you know....just incase.....
