Stunningly beautiful! As all your photos are..

Adore the composition, light, colour, background, detail, expression... everything about it.

I tried to photograph a squirrel the other day and as soon as I lay down on the ground it ran away from me... Is there a trick for getting close to these guys?

Christina you could attempt to look like a large nut.

    Steve, very nice photo.

Nice one Steve. I like that you can see the landscape reflected in the eye.

Christina, don't forget the possibility of using bait for wildlife photography. I don't think giving a few peanuts to a squirrel will be an issue, but be careful of laws and regulations especially for larger animals. Squirrels will usually come back after a minute or two if they think you have food. Toss a few peanuts (unsalted) and wait.

Thanks guy's , this squirrel comes to my bird feeder. He let me ge real close. 5 feet, as he feed on the bird seed. Finding a way to get close , is the key to good wildlife photos.

Bruce although looking like a large not should not be too challenging for me, I think I will follow the suggestions of Matt and Steve...
