    actually i like the dramatic sky effect and also the texture on the land big question is which one to capture! u took the easy way out by dividing both the elements, almost equally personally i would have preferred the land should have kept the land at 2\3 and the sky at 1\3 composition just like the rule book but then again, we all dont look alike and think alike!......so there.......lets just enjoy the serenity of this wonderful pic

    Love the patterns in the sand and the dramatic sky.

    Did you use any filters/effects on the sky to bring it out?

    The two posts in the foreground do compete for attention and split the viewers attention which is a bit unfortunate.

    As Taken says, a slightly different viewpoint might do more to the picture, maybe lower? I find the buildings to the left don't particularly help and a lower angle might minimise them?

    Nice place with empty beaches to capture. Lots of potential.
