    After the Storm

The colour has been modified slightly (was more pink) to satisfy my strange taste but otherwise this as seen. Taken one holiday evening in Nerja, Spain.

    Canon G7 and a Gin & Tonic

Absolutely no problem with the colour. It looks more like a painting and I really like it.
The boat is just perfectly placed there - any bigger than that and it wouldn't work for me - without it, wouldn't work either.

I'll easily see it hanging on a wall.

    Good job.

I completely agree with Eugen and can only add that anyone who doesn't view this in the largest size that fits on their monitor is missing a really special treat.

Beautiful image, John. The gin & tonic is obviously a must-have accessory.

I can see the furniture to fit in with that hanging on a wall.

Very nice. Almost ethereal, and if the boat was gone, I'd swear this was a watercolor.

Also, I propose that we petition for EXIF data to include a "liquid inspiration type" field.

Thanks so much for your great comment. It's typical isn't it. You can go looking for images and get nothing. Here I just happened to have a holiday camera on the table when the shot presented itself. Perhaps there is a market for a new gizmo - an Alcoholic Haze Filter.
