I was in California last month to visit my Dad and took advantage of being nearby to visit an egret and heron rookery in Moss Landing. Great time to be there because all the chicks were starting to fledge. Lots of comings and goings as parents were trying to keep up with the chicks demands for food. Beautiful blue skies. One of those special days.........

Nice Egret in flight Bud. I agree with Greg that for my tastes the vignette is a little heavy. I prefer the vignette more subtle feathering to the subject.

Just to add my compliments, Bud. Lovely detail and light on the wings.
I note the point made by the other guys re the vignette. What you've done is artistic, but overall I think I'd agree with pulling it back just a bit.
