    Mini Competition #49

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forum

I can't see any old bloke in the shot? Only a young chap like me!

    Salcombe Fish Quay

    Mini Competition #49

Used this image for my Christmas Cards this year.

Taken from my dinghy so I had to use a relatively high shutter speed which meant the ISO was higher than I would have liked for those shadow areas.

    Brother&Sister - Mother's lap

This lovely pair was playing with the waves fearlessly. Of course they are on the lap of mother nature - so what to fear for? Sun was in its final glory for the day and was sinking fast...

I was struggling hard to get them isolated from the crowd. With a little bit of cropping, I was able to achieve this.

    Hi Peter,

    What's a "Zero Image" camera?

I think "Zero lens" is a more accurate description

    Hi Colin,

It's a hand made wooden and brass pinhole camera with nominal focal length of 35mm and an F stop of F138.

    Mini Competition #49

We appear to be waiting for someone to add the final photo to this comp so here is my second image to finish things off.

A 'traditional' Christmas Robin. No snow I'm afraid. We did get 5 mm one day last year, which was regarded as a blizzard here!

While I was walking along the coastal path this robin just sat there, then when I went past, it flew down and started feeding around my feet.

ps. Forgot to change the title line and don't appear to be able to do an edit on it. So lets just call this one 'Robin'.
