This photo grabbed me as soon as I saw it. What were the lighting arrangements that created the very dark background, or is that the result of pp editing?

Thanks Bruce. Cloudy day and I shot straight down on the flowers against dark mulch. Just brought down the shadows and raised the highlights in PP. Canon 6D Canon 28-135 lens.
