Indy 500
At the race last weekend trying to get some sort of photo of the cars as they went zipping past at 240+ mph is a very daunting task.
I got a whole lot of this
a couple of this
and this one was a total surprise
I really like this last one. I didn't even notice the guy in the lower corner when I took this.

Hi Jon,
You tried not panning with the cars then?
Looks like a challenge focusing through the safety fence

Jon, I'm jealous
Indy is on my todo list as a race I must see along with the Monarco F1.
The atmosphere must be amazing there. How big was the crowd?

Dave, I started the day panning but I am too slow. So I concentrated on the pits.

Greg, Indy is a MUST see. 300,000+ crowd. It is not the best track to view a race but the atmosphere is unbelievable. I live just 1.5 hours north of Indy so I go most every year

Im with Greg, super jealous! I love #2 that guy in front of the 1000hp Indy car says it all! I hope this summer to get some good track day shots, they wont be as cool as Indy cars, but its local and its racing!
