    A lovely woodland image. I personally find the sign post a bit of a distraction but it looks like there was no way to avoid it even if one wanted to. The bridge makes a very good focal point, especially with the path leading in to it from the bottom of the photo.

    Did you use a tripod or do you have very stead hands at 1/25?

    Thanks Bruce. Yes in ideal world I would have had the sign post in a different place but it did seem well dug in!!
    Oh yes, I certainly used a tripod. Can't hold anything steady at under about 1/1000 these days.

    I like this photo Bruce - not sure if you have any additional width to play with but as it stands try a square crop removing the top portion of the image.

    This really enhances the line of the path leading to the bridge for me and allows the troublesome sign to make more sense in the image and not feel like a distraction (imho).

    Thanks for the comments folks.
    Shane I have several images taken at this location both portrait, landscape and then square crops. I think this one gives me the best balance overall.
