    Some Landscape Shots

I tried my hand at some landscape shots at a local dam. I also tried some different processing techniques to try to give some variation to the photos. Any C&C welcome.

    Cheers

All very nice but I think I like the last one best.

I like the birds in the B&W shot though.

(I would probably be tempted to a little jiggery pokery there.)

First or last for me. Probably depends on the intended use.

#1 is possibly the more natural looking.

I'd agree with that. A beautiful light.

For the B & W, you might want to think about the aspect ratio. There's a lot of the same tone in the bottom half of the frame. If you cropped, from the bottom, to a 2.5:1 or 3:1 panorama, I think you have, arguably, a more interesting image.

I am going to be different and go for #3 - composition much better - oops no I must just like the colours. I think that the water having dissimilar hues from the sky just makes it work a bit better.

    Hi Donald and L. Paul,
Sorry for the time taken to reply and thank you for your feedback and thoughts. I did a rework of two of the dam photos and following advice rethought the aspect and tried a different approach.
    Cheers
