    Butterflies of Kerala 2

I was lucky to get this guy. It is a very rare species of wild butterfly, active in nights. Look at his wings texture, that helped him to camouflage with the surroundings.....

    Hi Nikhil,

Another very good capture of the butterfly and of course, while I appreciate you have to take these where you find them, but I am bound to say that the background on this one is rather sharp and distracting because it is so busy.

You could, at some considerable expense of time, do extensive cloning to simplify it and blur a few other bits, although you'd have to be careful not to overdo it.

You must have good eyesight to find these, especially in the dark.

    Hope that helps,

@Dave Humphries U r right sir. I have to take some effort to learn some post processing techniques.
Actually it is not a butterfly it is a moth belongs to emperor moth family. These guys are active in nights and hard to find. I found it in a small forest when I search for moths, I didnt even touch him, he is in its natural habitat. I didnt destroy their habitat & freedom....I enjoy them in where they live
@ Thnks John & Robert. I have spent several hours of hide & seek to capture him.
