#2 for me. I like portrait mode here, and also like how the vertical lines of the trees help to frame the azalea. The coloration is very pleasing with the green foliage.

Thank you, everyone! I agree with Greg about the order of preference, which means that I agree with all of you about the best one of the lot.
Though the gardens we were visiting are beautiful, they aren't styled in a manner that is conducive to photographing wide swaths of spring flowers. So, we had to limit the subject to relatively small areas.
Another problem we were facing is that the day was generally bright and sunny, despite that the weather prediction was for clouds. The only areas of diffuse light were those provided by shade, so that situation also limited the shooting possibilities.
