I'd have thought the 2CV, with forward opening doors (from memory) might be ideal for this

But I guess they've all rusted away by now

Yes the 2CV was designed for French farmers!

    A nice fun shot.

But there is one other requirement, based on the cattle around here. They must enthusiastically rub against any 'posh' vehicles that they encounter on the road.

A sports car is too good to miss so careful positioning of their rear end should enable a 'present' to be left on a seat.

    Gorgeous, atmospheric shot.

When I was a kid growing up on a farm, I was the one that might have been driving the car (age didn't seem too important for driving cars on the quiet rural roads of the Highlands of Scotland in those days, so long as your feet could reach the pedals), with one of adult farm workers leaning out of the door.

    Hi Jeff,
I enjoyed the preamble to this picture as well as the picture itself. It brought a smile to my face this morning.
    Thanks for sharing.

Yes, no 2CV's left, my neighbor had one until recently, but there are no parts anymore ...

Probably better to do photography than suffer from "road rage". Well captured.
