    Washington DC

Me and my brother took a day trip to Washington DC the other day, I felt like it was a good opportunity to break in the new 50mm 1.8G I got the day before.

Here are some of the pictures from that day..

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guard on duty
Shot with a Sigma 70-300mm at 300mm focal length
    Washington DC

    Spring is here!
    Washington DC

"The Everlasting Flame" John F. Kennedy Memorial
    Washington DC

Tombstones of fallen soldiers in Arlington Cemetery
    Washington DC

And finally, the Thomas Jefferson memorial
    Washington DC

Please feel free to leave C&C and all of that good stuff.

    Thanks,
    Zach

These are all nice. I lived near DC growing up, and went there often. I was just there again in September 2012. The only picture I have similar to yours is the Jefferson Memorial. Mine is daytime, though. I like yours better.

Thanks! Very much appreciated. And the Jefferson Memorial is actually a panorama shot, though it may seem like a very wide lens, I actually shot it with the 50mm 1.8G
