This is a hand-held 3 shot HDR image of the second floor of the Menzies Hotel in Sydney, Australia. The software used-Photomatix Pro, Topaz Adjust, Nik's Viveza and Color Efex Pro 4.

Hi Donald.

It looks like a really nice hotel. The image might work if you were doing an advertisement for the hotel, but artistically, I do not know where I am supposed to look in this image. It is very busy. You might want to look for the most interesting pictures within this picture and work with them. Here is an example.

I rather like this image Donald. I think you've captured the warmth and beauty of the hotel foyer very well and the colours of the timber and leather are very nice indeed. The processing is spot on IMO and I think the way you've shot this from a fairly low angle works very well.

Thanks for the nice comments. I was sitting in one of the leather chairs with elbows on the arms of the chair to support the camera while capturing the 3 images for this HDR set. Thanks again.
