    New prime lens - 35mm f/1.4L

Well, i bit the bullet and ordered my next prime on the list......................35mm f/1.4L

Anyone have one, and how do you like it? I haven't read anything bad about it yet. Should be an awesome lens.

    Hi Steve,

Great news that you're "expecting" a new 'baby' (lens, of course)

    When is delivery due?

Anyone have one, and how do you like it?
Erm, isn't it a bit late to be asking that

    Thrilled for you,

It is a bit too much for me; I will probably get a f1.8 50mm not L, but dream of a 24mm TS lens; at only £850 quite good value.

You are right, the L lenses ARE expensive, but you get what you pay for . If you take good care of them, they will last a lifetime. Someday i might upgrade to a FF camera, and there is no sense upgrading if you don't have the glass to go with it.

I just save untill i can afford the lens i want...................next on the list is the 85 1.2L and then the 135 2L. After that its the 400 2.8L (i'll have to sell a car or something to afford that one )

Why does something sooooo fun, have to cost soooooo much????
