Kodak Z990 - Shooting a beach on a sunny day

Hi. These are some pictures from a couple of months ago, when I still had my Superzoom camera (Kodak Z990). Although sensor's tiny size, they can do "good" images when the light condition is good. Not even close to a DSLR in terms of details, anyway. This is one the beaches of the city of Cabo Frio (something like cold cape, in English), in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. C&C are welcomed, as always. Thanks for viewing!

Worked well with some tricky scenes, Otavio.

I wonder if there is just a little too much foreground greenery in #1 and #4. Would a very slight crop of the bottom and right side be worth considering? I'm not sure.

And the narrow line of surf in the last one doesn't really work for me. It isn't quite enough and seems a bit over exposed so becomes something of a distraction. I think I would try a 5 x 4 ratio crop to concentrate more on the bird and boat.

Otavio, like no.3, the ice cream seller.

Thanks, Karm. (and the Ice cream itself was also very good!)

    Otavio,
I believe that photo #2 (that is my favorite) would be incomplete without the presence of the bird, which adds an important element to the sky, interacts with the boat and helps to tell a story.
The other photos are also very good (and sharp).
And you used a Kodak Z990!
    Congratulations.
    Antonio.

Sure got some brilliant colors in the shots, Otávio. Images 1 to 4 are nice travel shots because they convey the beauty and scenes of Cabo Frio. Images1 to 4 appear to be a bit over-sharpened, but that may just be the result of reducing size to post here.

Hello, Ken. Thanks for viewing and commenting. I will be double check the sharpening next time (regarding over-sharpening). Kindest regards...
