Shot hand held without VR lens, supported against a tree. If it is a bit blurry you should understand why.

May I do it again?

Maybe I should crop out the girls and lamp post on the right leaving the pots in the image? What do you think?

You couldn't replicate this shot in Scotland because:

• you never get weather warm enough to behave like this during the rugby season
• our national team never plays well enough to inspire you to want to have an after-match evening celebration with friends!

I would try a crop of the right side to remove that strong light, Andre. I find it is competing against the fire.

But do you also crop a similar amount from the top or change the size ratio?

I think a slight right and top crop would work well. I like the fire, it works very well.

I would not have guessed that this was an after rugby gathering...our gatherings after always would end up with somebody IN the fire.

If you mean 8 - 12,000 miles, then, yep, worth considering.

If you mean a few hundred miles to our neighbour over the border, then, I'm sorry, obscene thoughts and language like that are not allowed on this forum!!!!
