Thank you again, I've inserted my images in the other thread (Raynox 250) also and from now on I'll use this procedure. I'm sorry for any inconvenience

Now about the P510 vs SX50: besides the bigger zoom (I've already confessed I'm a "zoom addict" ), SX50 seems to provide less noise on JPEGs and surprisingly good results in using the teleconverter option (1.5X and 2X) compared to digital zoom, both its own and that of P510. Also in video mode SX50 refocusses quickly while zooming, as to P510 you have to press a refocussing button...

In the last thread the target is quite far away, more than 2500ft (!).

What I definitely don't like to SX50 is the absurd limitation to ISO=80 for a shutter speed for more than 1 s in both Tv and M modes (pages 150, 152 in the manual)

I'm waiting for CHDK to relieve this restriction.
