    Can you explain "hand painted".

    2 things about the foreground. There is too much of it and does not look natural.
    The animal next to the rock needs a bit more prominence.

    Nice image, Travis. Agee with Bobo's suggestions- maybe a crop along the left and bottom would accomplish both? Did you use a radial blur filter for this? Interesting effect.

    I've gotta disagree with the others; the image is very evocative as is. To eliminate part of the foreground eliminates the very tasteful special effect. (I'm guessing that it is achieved by zooming during the exposure, but that's only a guess.) To crop on the left means that the animal and rock are no longer near the center, which I think makes this photo.

    If I were to make a compositional change, I would consider cropping part of the top to make a stronger connection between the animal looking toward the pass and the pass itself.
