    Up above

Trying some landscape, or seascape, photos on an overcast afternoon I didn't get enough contrast and colour so I decided to turn it into a night scene instead.

But then perhaps Black and White is better ?

and 20 minutes later, the SKY opened up and I shot "off my hips"

Cannot completely cut out the colour noise ?

    Hi Patrik

I like the first shot the best. The sky is nice and moody and the filtered sun adds a lot of interest throughout different parts of the image. The composition also works well I think. Nicely done. The B&W conversion is fine too but I think I prefer the colour in this case.

Yes, I think the subtle colour in the first image works well.

I thought about cropping it into a 5 x 4 ratio to concentrate more on the water; but that would probably lose as much as it gained.
