    Lens Hire

    Hi,

Does anybody know the best place to hire lenses from, I'm off to Canada in June so am looking to hire
a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18–300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR or similar for my Nikon 5000

I have a tameron 70-300 lens but get fed up with keep changing the lens for nearer photos.

Am I right I could also use an FX lens also if available.

I am not an experienced photographer so any advice would be helpful.

    thanks to all

    Paul

If you are in the UK I've used Lenspimp and been very happy with the service.

    Paul,

The subject of this thread, which is specific to where you live or will be traveling, is a good example of why it's especially helpful for you to include your location in the information that is displayed to the left of your posts. To make that happen, it's easy to edit your profile.

We forgot to welcome you to CiC and to answer your question about the FX lens. Yes, an FX lens will work fine on your DX camera. Be sure to read the thread provided by John, as it has many excellent tips regardless of which company you decide to rent from.
