    A few birds

A few back yard birds. These were shot in hard afternoon sun, in the shade of a tree. All were shot with a canon 40D + 300 F/4L wide open at f/4. Could have been better , if i wasn't too lazy to put on the flash.

Nicely done, Steve. The Wren in #2 is my favorite, but there is not a bad one in the bunch.

Love the little ones, they are so difficult to capture. Nice work Steve.

Despite that I don't appreciate this style of photography, I like the set and especially #2. I actually thought you did use flash on that one until I saw your comment to the contrary.

Thank you joe. Around here, they are fairly trusting and allow you to get very close. You just have to be quick to get your shot, because they move around alot.
