Finally got out to do some serious shooting again!

After a couple of short (1/2 hour) sessions with the camera, my foot finally felt good enough to head out into the woods for some serious shooting. We spent about five hours at Parc Omega in Montebello, Quebec to see some of the wildlife in the winter. It was quite overcast, so the lighting was not great for landscapes, but just about perfect for wildlife shots.

Love the deer shot in particular, with the fox a close second. Glad you're getting out before the season is gone.

Thanks Kevin - I'm paying for it today though. My foot is rather sore, but I can't say that my surgeon didn't warn me... I was worth it though.

Not only are these very cool, but I for one, am glad you are getting back to the Big Out There!

Beautiful Wolf and beautiful Fox. The richness of their fantastic coats on great display in these shots.

OK, I'm not wishy washy. I like them all! Never seen a wolf in the wild and that would be awesome. The fox made me homesick for not getting to our Colorado place this winter. I hope you had a long lens on that bison. He doesn't look happy. I agree with everyone else. The deer shot is gorgeous. Somewhat surreal...
