Cleveland Museum of Art, Three Views

This is a picture of one of the museum's exterior walls. I developed it as an abstract image.

Cleveland Museum of Art, Three Views

This is a picture of an interior glass wall and ceiling in the museum. In really focused on the picture's geometric patterns.

As I walked passed this interior wall its geometric patterns radiated with energy. That's what I tried to capture in this photo.

Very nice Darm, like all of them. Might suggest to darken (fill in) the horizontal lines on the top image, could work? Excellent composition and processing !

Thanks Alfred. The scratches on the stripes in the building shot are naturally present in the texture of the building. I have mixed feelings about feeling cleaning them up. I'm concerned that filling in these stripes might make the picture look too contrived. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong on this point.

Great eye, Karm. All three photos indicate a really serious approach to your craft.

I would be tempted to change the color of the floor in the last photo to a warm palette to better complement the subject. Also consider cropping the right side slightly to eliminate the distracting joints in the wood.

Thanks for the compliment. I am embarrassed to say how many times I looked at this photo and did not see those joints. I'll definitely get rid of them or at least see what the picture looks like without them. I really have struggled with the floor color in the third photo. I am not happy with its current look. I'll try your suggestion and look at warmer colors.

I like the abstract treatment in #1 and #3.

If you scroll #3 up and down quickly it appears that the light is moving along with the picture in a circular manner. Very cool.

That is a really huge museum...

Thanks Bobo. And I thought I was the only person who wiggled images to see if they vibrate. There's a photographer who sends me his work on Flickr that flickers when you move his pictures up and down.

The Cleveland Museum of Art is large and has impressive collections of art and artifacts. The Museum allows you to take pictures inside its halls and in many of its exhibits. If you're ever in or around Cleveland it's a museum that's worth a visit.
