I had heard of some Great Horned Owls with owlets about 1 1/2 hrs south of me in the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. These owls would be quite early to be having babies. Took the trip this morning and found the nest empty.Oh well off to find Mom and Dad. I found them but both were quite some ways off hidden in the deep woods. Mom is the darker one here and the first I found. The second was dad where he landed after being chased by 2 Crows and a Raven.
After a couple hours getting discourage one of the two fledglings was spotted. I will post him in his own thread as I think he deserves it.
No need to C&C, these are near 80% crops and have suffered some for the distance.

Nice clear shots which is often impossible with owls in trees.
