A doe for Steve and ....

On my little trip yesterday we saw several deer and Ram along the cliffs and hills along the Yakima River. Many were just to far off, but I did catch this doe standing on a near vertical hillside. I also caught the first image of an American Kestral that I have gotten. Which was a surprise being I shot it out of the window as we made our way down the river. It is a bit of a crop and not perfectly sharp, but he is such a pretty bird I had to share.

Thanks Joe! One of these days I will catch the image I want of a Kestrel and I hope when I do he is as colorful as this one.

Nice job, Paul. And I'm thrilled you shared the Kestrel. It's much sharper and closer than the one I shared. It's exciting to capture one at all. Yes, we will someday get the shot we want!

Yes Steve. We have 3 kinds of deer here, all three a bit different. These are White Tail. We have Black Tail {usually the smallest} on the West side and high up in the mountains live the Mullies...the largest.
