    Steamy Night Path

Trying to capture the steam in freezing temperatures.

    Steamy Night Path

Olympus EPL-1, 20mm, 1/25sec, f/1.7 post processing added vignette. Very noisy although reduced with Neat Image.

    I think you succeeded John,

Although the source is not obvious to me.

Would it stand a slight clockwise rotation?

    Cheers,

If the goal was capturing the steam, then... mission accomplished, John! Besides that, it is a nice image! The noise level was well controlled, for a night shot. Rgds,

    Just add 'MacKenzie'

I wondered how it would look as a B & W with a curve on the steam to brighten it up and make it 'pop'? But, as it is, it is, as the others have said, a fine image.

Re: Steamy Night Path edit and conversion

Gave it a tilt and converted to black and white.

    Steamy Night Path

Tended to emphasize the noise a bit.

The steam looks like a ghost in monochrome. For some reason, I'm really distracted by the car on the right. I like the color shot better. Very good quality for a night shot!
