    Great Horned Owl and Owlet

    I caputered these yesterday. I had heard of two locations where they were nesting, struck out at the first found them at the second. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Wow, Joe! A rare opportunity and you took advantage of it beautifully! Notwithstanding the chicks, I like #2 best. Colors, contrast and framing are perfect. Great job!

    Thanks John, I appreciate you viewing and commenting. There is nothing wrong with the eye, the owl appeared to be very sleepy. It would fall asleep and then waken. I have images of it asleep.

    Forget about the adult - get more shots of the kiddies. They can be really cute characters and make excellent pictures.

    Hello Photoman, thank you for viewing and commenting. These were taken close to noon, this was the second area I looked for the owls nesting. On a side note, most of us in the forum list our first name as the real name, then we use it when communicating. It makes it more personal. Once again thank you for the comment.
