    Pink Flamingo

Still in the zoo. I am no "birder" they are very difficult to get with enough detail. Hope I had some success with this one.

    C&C will be appriciated.

    Hi Andre,

I am no expert myself. But don't you think that you could have moved slightly to the left to capture the face and beak of the second bird as well?

    Thanks!
    Arpan.

Hello Andre. It is a nice picture of a nice subject (I love flamingos).

Maybe you could consider cloning out the flamingo in the back (the third one). He is not helping, in my opinion. Then, once you clone it out, you could crop, say, 15% of the top and 5% of the botton. I think that would make the 2 guys in the front (the subject) "pop"! This is just a thought that I had and, of course, you might disagree on it. Anyway, it is already a nice shot the way it is!

    Regards,

    Thank you Arpan and Otavio.

Otavio I am very bad at cloning - I prefer re-shooting, if possible.
The guy in the background was there to give a little dept in an image with very flat lighting.

Maybe this one is a tad more to the liking of Arpen.
Sorry Otavio now I've got 2 in the background.

The one in back gives the full profile of the bird so it doesn't really hurt to include it.

I wonder, do birds photographed in the zoo count if you are going for "the Big Year"?
