The first one is especially nice. I really like the drama of it.

Try getting at least a little separation between the edges of the bottle and the background. You could do that by brightening either the bottle or the background before converting to black-and-white.

I take Mike's point, but I do like the tone used on the 3rd one.

For me it creates a lovely mood and atmosphere.

The only problem with the burning cigar idea is the fact that this was taken inside the house, and my wife would end up taking a chunk of my butt for lighting up in the house
