It's a great tool, isn't it Neil? And it looks like you've started it get to grips with it pretty quickly.

In case you haven't found them yet, Nik's own series of video tutorials (here) are, I think, an extremely useful learning resource (I see there is a new one up that I haven't looked at yet - "Advanced Silver Efex Pro 2 Techniques with Dan Hughes.").

Thanks for the link Donald, I am really loving this software, some of the results have impressed me greatly and I'm finding myself going back through lots of my old work just to see how they turn out,hours are spent in a flash!

Thank you for your replies and Andre to answer your question I would just have to say that I played around with the various sliders until I got the result I liked,the programme is that good even an idiot like me can get decent results from it.
