Very nice, Jaime. If I must nit pick ...and I must today.. I think just a slight more selective work on the Eagle may make him pop a little more from the background. As is the upper potion of the wings get slightly lost. Otherwise....fantastic.

Super capture. Personally, I wish there were a bit more space beneath the Eagle. On another note, seeing those meat hooks makes me glad I'm not a mouse (or rabbit?!)

That is one impressive bird. The Golden is so much larger than the bald eagles we have here, I would love to see one in person. Great capture!

Thanks for the feedback - so are you suggesting lightening the eagle or darkening the background?

    Re: Golden Eagle

Jaime, I would likely work on the eagle but ever so slightly and really just the nearest wing. As I said, it is nit picking. Darn nice as is.

I gave it a quick go to see how it went and honestly your original is pretty darn on the money. Any movement at all and the wingtips lose the nice richness you have managed. There is a small bit af white running up into those feathers that can be slightly enhanced without changing things to much. Might be more effort than benifit.

    Beautiful bird and image, Jaime.

Hello Jaime, great image. I read the preceeding posts. I had a quick go at separating the eagle more from the background. Ligthtening the background by 2 stops seems about right. If you would like I will post so you can have a look. As is still nicely done.
