    Glassware Pattern

    I finally decided that the only way to show an elegant pattern in glassware is to avoid shooting through the front and rear of the glass. Until the pattern is properly isolated, you would never know that the pattern shown below is in the goblets shown here.

    (The increased magnification also helps. Don't tell my wife that I see a macro lens in my future. )

    Different and a really cool shot.

    Not from the front of back so this was probably taken top down. Bottoms up may give a different look.

    Thanks, Bobo! I don't understand what you mean, so I'll try to explain the perspective. The black line at the top of the photo is the top of the rear part of the bowl of the glass. The camera is looking into the bowl from above to show the pattern as viewed from inside the glass. Make sense?
