Sky in the Eye C&C welcomed
I found myself too close with my 400 mm prime so this is kinda tight...
Does this black border help or hurt that tightness.... or maybe no effect?
Do you feel deceived by the title? If you zoom the eye you will plainly see sky +trees, patches of snow.
All C&C welcomed

Thanks for viewing.

Too long we complain. Too short we complain.
Nice one James, really like the way he turned his eye to see what you are up to.
That faint strand of grass sticking out of nose should be cloned.

For me, James, the heavy black border does tend to exaggerate the frame closeness. I suspect a narrow border, or none would help.

Nice shot James. I agree with Geoff that a smaller border would be better. Like the DOF and colours you've captured.

Nice image , james.
The only disadvantage of a prime, is getting caught too close. This is why i went for the 300 and a TC. You can always quickly pop off the TC, to get a wider frame. Still a nice shot, even though it's tight.

The border doesn't bother me. But that blade of grass has to go; my eyes keep returning to it, which is probably not what you intended.
A lovely photo.
