Snow mode in a point and shoot

    Hi,
I'm going skiing with my kids and plan on taking along a small Canon SD870 IS. It has a snow mode. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it just increase the exposure a stop or two? If that's the case, I might just shoot auto and up the exposure in LR4.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

Thanks. Looks like the camera will expose a little more, to make the snow brighter, and take away some of the blue the snow reflects. I'll try this mode. thanks again. Bruce
