An accidental shot that turned out better than expected. Because the dog took getting down to his level as an invitation to face lick I thought I would do a foreshortened face- in- the- lens shot but he turned his head. However as far as a portrait /snapshot of this dog goes it says enough to the owner.
Any advice on if I should crop it even more severely or any improvements I could make pp would be wlecome.

Beautiful springer:> I would like to see the eyes lightened a bit... they have such beautiful eyes.. and maybe not such close crops at the nose on the first shot and the head on the second..... I can totally understand on getting down on the ground with them... it takes a good 5-10 minute wresting match with my dogs to get to where I can be on the ground and take shots of them:>
