    Caterpillar - Can Someone identify

I took photos of this really unique caterpillar when I was in Mexico. I've never seen another like it and I would love to know what type it is. Anyone?

And here is a shot that I would like some CC on... I had the caterpillar in a glass jar because I thought it might be poisonous. I like that the photo is unique, the effects of the glass and colour, and also that one can see its reflection in the glass jar. Then again perhaps it is just an odd photo... ?

Smart move keeping that thing in a jar. Looks poisonous to me. Try posting here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/6/bgimage

I have seen more unique bugs and birds since I joined this site than ever before. It is always interesting to see where they originate. I don't know anything about what kind it is but you have a good shot of it. The detail of the little hairs is so clear you can almost count them and the glass reflection makes it look surreal. I am kind of weird about taking pictures of bugs, afraid once they are inside the camera I might not be able to get them out.

Thank you for the links, but they only identify bugs in Canada and the USA... I found this site and I submitted the photo for identification

I've been searching forever but so far I can't find any caterpillars with those fuzzy spiny antennae.. I'll post if and when I receive an identification. Thank you

Thank you Connie. I like photographing bugs, but like to keep them at a safe distance... Most are harmless.
