It is a good image Donald. I feel it would have more impact by cropping from the bottom so that the tree/branch forms the bottom of the image, from the left where I don't think the tree branches add to the rather stark scene and also from the right to eliminate the brush wood or bush which I think also distracts from the very strong central image.

Hey Donald - I like the shot and the overall "feel" of it, looks like an interesting place to shoot and you did a good job capturing the scene. With shots like this it's always difficult to decide what to keep and what to crop. Our eye always "filters" out the stuff that kinda "gets in the way" of the picture being as we remembered. In the spirit of Dave's comment here is my humble attempt at a crop - hope you don't mind
