storm cloud - which one better?

I was in my hotel room and then saw this storm cloud coming towards the hotel. Grabbed my camera and rush to the Roof Top Bar Lounge. When I got to the top, a few people were already shooting with their hand phones. Managed to shoot it before the rain came.

The actual scene was much darker. I would like your opinions, which photo gives the "feel" of the on-coming storm? or both could be deleted

I also prefer the colour version but think it would have a better feel if the saturation of the buildings was reduced making it look more gloomy.

MPOO ( My personal opinion only) in the black and white post the cloud formation has nothing like the intense drama of the colour version. But... and don't you hate it when there is a but... the intense colour of the buildings totally drew my eye away from what I have assumed was the primary focus of your story. So the suggestion made to tone down the intensity of the buildings to bring out the clouds is one way to go.
However how about if you did some selective work on beefing up the intensity and contrast of the clouds in the B&W shot? It is the sort of capture that really can work very well with B&W.
    Nice work

I was going to comment, but this one sums up my feelings nicely.

I do really like the clouds.

I like the B+W but I tried a yellow filter to see if it looked a bit more dramatic.

Also red and green filters seem to be pleasing, so it is definitely a nice image and could be a great one.

Steven, I like the B&W and I would agree with Ken on enhancing the clouds to get the same "gloom & doom" feel as the color version.

    Nice capture none the less.

    Cheers

For me the buildings are a distraction in both versions. Consider cropping to eliminate them, which would result in almost a square photo.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I really appreciate it.

After reading all the comments and suggestions, I realised why the coloured version didn't give me the right "feel" to it and that was why I converted the photo to B&W. It takes the community here in CiC to help me see and I appreciate that.
