    A Winter's Morning Walk

Chillly (-12 C) but beautiful morning after some snow. Any thoughts, comments and edits welcome and appreciated.

Kevin, these are beautiful photos. I especially like number four when I look at it in lightbox. You are taking advantage of some very nice places to capture the season.

The patterns in the lower part of number two are very nice. I tried cropping the top part of the photo in order to bring attention to the colors and patterns of the lower part an liked the result. What was the temp when you took these.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Chuck. It was 10 degrees F for #s 3 and 4, a little warmer for the others as they were later in the morning. Your crop suggestion is right on, dont know why I didnt think of it, but will do it now

Great photos. My favorites are one and two. I like the portrait orientation of the first which provides a very nice view of the water flow. I like the way you caught the ice in #2. It appears crystal or glass like. The new crop really focuses on what I consider the interesting part of the image. It sure was cold out there, but well worth it.

    Kevin,
Thank you for posting a great set of pictures.
They are all good, so I am not going to pick a favorite.
    Thanks for sharing.

Oh my, Kevin. I can't choose a favorite as I think all of these are wonderful. Now these are the scenes to use the "silky" water look. I really like the shutter speeds you've chose in all of these. Just beautiful!
