Every 2 years, in November we have here in South Australia the " Sun powered " car race, which starts in Alice Springs, Nothern Territory and finish in Adelaide.......
I took this photo a couple of years ago, but thought the American members here would be interested, as the winner of that race was an American........

Nice shot... It shows what you need... the car, the University of Michigan and U.S. flags and the people wearing the T-shirts of the car company. All I can think of is MY GOSH, that must have been a darned uncomfortable trip in the cockpit of that tiny vehicle!
BTW: too bad that the outboard people were partially cut off...

Thank you Richard, yes, it was for sure hot for the drivers, after all it was 1500 km, so far I remember they needed 3-4 days for it, and when they reached the finish line, it was hot here too, as we had that day 38C, but later one they all cooled off, in the city fountain, for one even perhaps a bit to much, see 2 more photos .......
