    Merry Christmas

I was inspired by Mike's Happy Holidays to all wine drinkers thread. So, I decided to try and create my own Holiday cheer. I tend to drink more beer than wine and I had some bottle caps laying around. I know there is probably a lot wrong technically with this shot, but it's meant for fun. My wife and I had fun putting this together. So, Merry Christmas to all.

This is wonderful, Sergio! I especially admire the very pleasing tabletop horizon and the lighting on the bottle opener. Anyone who hasn't photographed metal doesn't appreciate how difficult that might have been to get it looking so good. You did such a great job of hiding the wires that I wonder if it would have been possible to hide the few that do show in the right side.

Did you make the tree? If so, I'm especially impressed. My cork tree surely was a lot easier to construct.

Hopefully you sent the image out as a holiday card.

Donald, thank you for viewing and commenting. Cheers!

Mike, thank you. I'm glad I got something right. No, we did not make the tree. Was bought at a local Target for $10.00. We just added the bottle caps and lights. Yes, I didn't notice the wire until after the photo's were taken and I had taken down the set up. I was honestly too lazy to set it back up again. Didn't think of using it as a card, but that's a great idea.

Steve, thanks, I surely will drink on.

Orlando, thanks. I'm glad you find it cool.

Thanks again everyone who viewed and posted; it's appreciated.

Sergio... was it more fun puting this shot "togther" or collecting the ornaments for the tree!

BTW... I don't see a San Miguel cap on the tree. That was my favorite beer; although I liked the San Miguel brewed in the Philippines better than the San Miguel brewed in Hong Kong!

Louise, thank you for viewing and I'm glad you liked it. Merry Christmas!

Richard, I must admit I enjoyed collecting the ornaments more than putting the shot together. Thanks for the suggestion on the San Miguel. I will have to try it and add the cap to my collection. Hopefully, I can find the one made in the Philippines.

    Thanks again, all.
