I love this Miltos. The lighting and colours are so nice and that's what it's all about. I'm wondering if the tree branches could be cloned out around the chimney and the right side. They kind of spoil the nice clean lines and angles. Also not so sure about the dark border. It looks great on the top part of the shot, but because the bottom is so dark i think it needs some contrast so we can make out what is there. I also think I'd like it better if the skid was not there, but I know there is not much you could have done about that, it's just that (again) it kind of breaks up the cleanness of the lines. Hope that makes sense.
Even with all the suggestions, I still love the shot because of the light and the colours
Wendy
Looks better to me without the branches and that white inset on the border was all it needed, just enough for some seperation between the dark areas
Hi Miltos,
well done.
I like this picture, the small changes you have made certainly improve what was already a nice picture.
Miltos - I understand what you mean and agree with the sentiment you express. But I do think Wendy was correct in her assessment. The beauty of the image is not just in the colours but in the strong geometric lines and shapes. The young tree shoots fought against those lines and shapes and detracted from them.
